The August Bank Holiday weekend is officially here and it’s the last bank holiday weekend of the summer. The sun will hopefully be shining all weekend so lets make the most of it by making plans and planning some outfits. The Galway Races may be coming to an end but that doesn’t mean that you still can’t look stylish. End the most stylish week of the Galway summer with a bang by taking some style inspiration from us.
Patterned or Floral?
If you haven’t guessed it already here at Hanley & Co we are obsessed with a good patterned or floral shirt. Traditional plain shirts are still as dressy if patterns aren’t your style but there’s just something we love about patterns and florals. They elevate a look and give a fresh summer vibe to your outfit. Our favourite brands that do an excellent job of creating patterned and floral shirts are Fish Named Fred and R2.
Chinos or Shorts?
The choice is yours. Shorts have quickly become a fashion statement this summer and look just as dressy as chinos or smart trousers. They are very versatile and can be worn both to a daytime or evening event. Some of our favourites are by brands such as Gardeur and Calvin Klein.
Trainers or Loafers
If you are attending a more formal or dressy event loafers would definitely be the better option here but as you can see trainers also work very well with this look and provide you with comfort if you are out and about during the day. Here at Hanley & Co we have a wide range of footwear which are both comfortable and dressy for all occasions. Check out our entire collection here.
