At Hanley & Co, our commitment to bringing you the best premium menswear in Ireland starts long before the clothes hit our shelves. Each year, our team of stylists travels to the historic Fortezza da Basso in Florence for Pitti Immagine Uomo - the global heartbeat of high-end men’s clothing.

This week, we attended the 109th edition to get an exclusive first look at the Autumn/Winter 2026/27 collections. Under the official theme of "MOTION," the message from Florence was clear: the modern man’s wardrobe is evolving. It’s no longer just about looking sharp; it’s about high-quality men’s fashion that moves, breathes, and adapts to a life in constant progression.
Here are the key highlights and menswear trends for 2026 our team captured for the season ahead.
The Theme: Fashion in Motion
The rigid, restrictive silhouettes of the past have officially stepped aside. This year’s theme focused on "Fluid Tailoring" - think unstructured blazers, technical wool blends, and tailored trousers designed for movement. Whether you’re commuting or travelling, the focus for AW26 is on "performance and polish" -the ultimate smart casual style for the modern Irish gentleman.
Paul & Shark: Innovation Meets Heritage

A perennial favorite for those seeking luxury menswear in Ireland, Paul & Shark continues to lead the way in sustainable innovation. Their latest collection showcases an incredible evolution of their 1970s sailing DNA, reimagined for the modern city. We were particularly impressed by their new water-resistant knitwear and technical outerwear that feels weightless yet stands up to the unpredictable Irish weather.
Berwich: The Foundation of the Capsule Wardrobe

For the man who values the perfect fit, Berwich was a major standout. Their "In-da-co" capsule introduces a hybrid denim that offers the structured look of premium jeans with the unexpected comfort of a soft jersey. We also noted a shift in the colour palette toward rich, grounded earth tones, expect to see plenty of burnt orange, deep olive, and rust punctuation across our upcoming collections.
Dstrezzed & Bugatti: The Urban Lifestyle

The "Dynamic Attitude" section of the fair featured heavy hitters like Dstrezzed and Bugatti. The trend here is "Urban Technical", taking high-performance outdoor fabrics and applying them to refined, everyday pieces. From modular layering systems to sophisticated waterproof overcoats and the ever-popular quarter-zip sweaters, these brands are perfecting the art of the "commuter-chic" look.
