Sales of any kind can be very overwhelming and it is very easy to get caught up in them, especially when you come across a good deal. This can cause us to impulse buy and end up with items that we won’t get a lot our wear out of. With this in mind, we will include staple pieces from our Winter Sale that you will get a lot of wear out of and have for years to come.
How to build a capsule wardrobe
Building a capsule wardrobe doesn’t mean you have to go out and purchase loads of clothes. To build a capsule wardrobe you will actually end up having fewer clothes than you thought. Before you go out and buy anything go through your own wardrobe and have a look at what you have. Get rid of any clothes that you haven’t worn in the past year or so or anything that hasn’t stayed in the best condition. Once this clear-out is complete it will be easier to see what you have and what you need.
Another tip when building your capsule wardrobe is to consider your lifestyle. If you wear a uniform to work and work 5 days a week then you won’t need to buy as many professional clothing items, meaning you will just need comfortable pieces for relaxing at home in the evening or clothing to wear to any hobbies you may have such workout clothes for going to the gym or sports clothes for playing sports. Once you have made a list of the items you need for during the week you must then consider what you have for wearing at the weekend for wearing to town, visiting friends or family, going out for a meal or to a bar with your friends. An easy way to plan these looks is by sticking to a colour palette so that you can easily mix and match.
